Daily Build helps you reflect, take action, and track how you show up across faith, relationships, parenting, physical well-being, and work. This policy explains what information we handle when you use our website and mobile app.

Information we collect

How we use information

We use information to sign you in, save and display your records, provide daily content, verify membership, process referrals, deliver requested reminders and essential account messages, answer support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not promise any particular personal outcome based on your scores.

Your reflections and community comparisons

Your written reflections are not displayed to other members or available through the ordinary administrator interface. They are stored on our servers; this is not an end-to-end encrypted journal. Authorized technical access and service providers may be able to access stored information when needed to operate, secure, or support the service or comply with law. Administrators can access account, membership, profile, and score information.

Community comparisons use grouped score information and participation thresholds. They do not display your written reflections. You can turn community comparisons off in your profile. Community comparisons are currently enabled by default; turning them off stops your participation in comparisons.

Who receives information

We use Lovable and its hosting and email infrastructure, Supabase for account and database services, Stripe for website billing and affiliate payments, RevenueCat for store subscription management, and Apple/Google for their sign-in or store services when used. They receive the information necessary for their roles. RevenueCat receives an account identifier and purchase-related information; the purchase integration does not send it your written reflections or daily scores.

Affiliates can see limited referral information, including a pseudonymous member handle, plan/status, dates, and commission amounts. They do not receive your reflections or scores through the affiliate dashboard. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.

Cookies and advertising

We use necessary browser storage and similar technologies for sign-in, security, and service preferences. We do not currently run an advertising pixel or share personal information for targeted advertising.

We may later introduce advertising pixels or app attribution tools to measure campaigns and reach people who have visited the site or used the app. Before doing so, we will update this policy to explain the partners, information involved, and choices available, and obtain consent or provide opt-outs where required. Any required device tracking permission will also apply. This paragraph is not consent to future tracking.

We will not use private reflections, faith scores, or sensitive health, belief, or family information to build advertising audiences. We do not use private reflections to train AI models.

Storage, retention, and security

We use access controls and service-provider security measures to protect information. No system is completely secure. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including maintaining your account, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal recordkeeping obligations. Subscription cancellation does not by itself delete your account or records.

Account and practice records are retained while your account is active unless you request deletion. After a verified deletion request, we delete or de-identify information no longer needed. Limited billing, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute records may be kept where necessary or required by law. Retention depends on the purpose, sensitivity of the information, and applicable obligations. Backup copies may remain until the provider's normal replacement cycle; immediate removal from every backup is not guaranteed.

Your choices and rights

You can update available profile settings, change reminder preferences, and manage your subscription through the service where you purchased it. Contact support@thedailybuild.app to request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of your information. We may verify your identity before acting. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. We will respond as required by applicable law.

International use and sensitive information

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy protections may differ from those in your country. Where required, transfers must use an applicable adequacy decision, approved contractual protections, or another lawful transfer mechanism. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process account and service information to provide the service you request, necessary billing records to meet legal obligations, and limited security and support information for our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. We rely on consent where required, including for optional marketing or sensitive information that requires explicit consent. You may withdraw consent by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Faith scores and information about beliefs, health, or family life can be sensitive. Share only what you want stored. If required consent is withdrawn, we will stop the affected processing unless another lawful ground applies; some related features may no longer be available.

Age and changes

Daily Build is designed for and recommended to adults 18 and older. We do not conduct identity or age verification. The service is not directed to children under 13, and they may not use it. Users under the age of legal majority must have a parent or guardian's permission and meet applicable local age and consent requirements. If we learn that we collected information from a child who is not permitted to use the service, we will take steps to delete it. Contact us if you believe this has happened. We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update its effective date and provide additional notice or request consent when required.
